My NEW FanTABulous Women Teaching Series!

I am thrilled to announce the launch of a long-time dream of mine–I am starting an eight-week teaching series right in my own home, all about being a FanTABulous Woman!

Here’s a blurb from my Facebook event page:

This is the best of what I teach, preach and blog about, all in one series!

The tools, resources and accountability women need to live a life of passion, confidence and influence.

Come to a class you need, come to share your own expertise, come to network or just come to hang out and have a cup of tea!

Practical, simple and hands-on, this eight-week series will be held every Tuesday night in my home studio in south Chandler. 5:30-6:00 is tea time, 6:00-8:00 is class and 8:00-8:30 is networking and Q&A.

I really DO wear many hats!

I just logged off of Facebook and had to smile at the comments people made at pictures I posted of myself from over the last several days.

I thought, “Gosh, I really DO wear a lot of different hats!” and laughed out loud, so I had to share.

This was me Thursday, November 29th, on my birthday in my tiara at an impromptu tea party my mom threw for me at her house. Every woman needs a tiara for just such an occasion. Trust me–once you have a tiara, you will FIND occasions for wearing it!

This was me Saturday at a Christmas Tea that I helped put on for a ladies’ networking group I belong to, benefitting a local pregnancy center that I am passionate about.

And this was me Sunday at our annual family photo shoot.

What I Wore!

I had a blast teaching the “Blogging for Business: Interacting With Your Target Market” class for the Gilbert Chamber of Commerce Small Business Growth Conference & Expo a week ago.

Aren’t you dying to know what I wore!?!? :)

As you saw in a previous post, I debated about what to wear to teach in. I knew it was important for me to project a professional yet CREATIVE image and to stay true to myself.

This is what I wore (afterward, next to my folks’ pool):

My ensemble!

I’m so glad I went with the bright orange sweater and the blue shoes! I had several compliments and I just felt confident and happy in it. That matters!

I think pretty cardigans might become my ‘signature piece.’

Back at CGCC after 11 years!

This was my “Let Me Rephrase That” booth at the expo, by the way. I’ll talk more about it in a new post soon but many of the people who complimented my outfit also loved my booth. These were the same people who were VERY interested in my writing services AND people that I just clicked with. That tells me that I’m staying true to myself and attracting the right people! That’s the magic formula!

Do you have go-to outfits that make you feel confident? Do you have an article of clothing that is your ‘signature piece?’ Please share!

I Survived Camping

Yes, this girly-girl and beauty consultant DID survive camping!

It was actually a marvelous way to spend quality time with my husband’s family and with my sons. Plus I REALLY needed the time away from my businesses (and my phone and computer) to unwind and decompress. There’s nothing quite like four days and three nights on a mountain in the remote northern New Mexico wilderness to help you clear your head!

And so glad to be back home! These were flowers my parents had for us when we arrived home, to celebrate ONE YEAR in our new home. flowers upon our arrival

There truly is no place like home (especially when home has running water, electricity and a king-size bed with a pillow-top mattress). And it’s true… i love not camping
